How to Catch a Criminal with DNA and Gel Electrophoresis!

This short video explains how gel electrophoresis can be used in forensic cases to determine if a suspect was present at a crime scene. It also has a great analogy to help you remember how and why the banding patterns of DNA fingerprints occur!

Cell Membrane and Transport Video Series

This series of videos explains the structure of the plasma membrane and how materials are transported across it.   Diffusion, facilitated diffusion, active transport, endocytosis, and exocytosis are all included and clearly explained.  There is a longer series with more detailed explanations and analogies, as well as a short video series with short and sweet animations that get right to the point. Cellular Respiration Video Series

This series of videos explains how aerobic cell respiration works. Also, you get to see sugar explode! Glycolysis, the link reaction, the Krebs cycle, and the electron transport chain are all covered and animated to help you understand the process of making ATP (cell energy) using food and oxygen!
